We are running a series of classes for those working toward their ACA L3 or L4 skills assessment**.
These classes will include
- Foundation skills in dynamic conditions (turning, edging, forward and reverse maneuvers using a variety of strokes)
- Control in tidal currents, rough water rescues and towing.
- Boat control in surf up to 3 feet, launching and landing, maintaining station and crossing the surf zone safely.
The first of this series will be held on September 30 with other classes to be scheduled in October and early November.
Cost for a single clinic is $125. Discounts will be offered if you sign up for multiple classes in the series.

** ACA L3 skills focus on boat handling in light to moderate seas. The remit for the assessment include kayaking in a coastal environment with 10-15 knot winds, 1-2 foot seas and light tidal currents (< 2 knots).
** ACA L4 skills focus on boat handling and maneuvering in more challenging sea states. The remit for the assessment includes open water paddling with wind to 11-16 knots, surf to 3 feet (1 Meter), and current to 3 knots.
